Carlos Bleycher (1981) is a scriptwriter, content consultant and story editor specialized in animation and childrens’ oriented content. Highlights among his work as Head of Story & Script are the animated series: “Puerto Papel (Paper Port)” (StopMotion + 2D, 52x11’, broadcasted in over 9 countries), “Zumbastico Fantastico” (2D, 30x7’, broadcasted on Cartoon Network LA and Netflix), “Hostal Morrison (Morrison Hostel)” (2D, 26x11’, broadcasted on PakaPaka and Cartoon Network LA) & “Horacio y los Plasticines (Horatio & The Plasticines)” (Puppets + StopMotion, 52x7’ broadcasted on Netflix).

He has also worked as content developer for major networks such as Disney xD and Discovery Kids with the shows “Martian Soap 2111”, “The Papernauts” and the second season of “Mini Beat Power Rockers”. Creator of the series “Cagemates”, winner of the MIFA Creative Focus Pitch in the International Animation Festival of Annecy 2013.

His teaching experience includes “Narrative for Children & Youngsters” and “Writing for T.V” at Universidad UNIACC in Santiago de Chile (2010 to 2013), “Animation Scriptwriting Workshop” at ICAIC in La Habana, Cuba 2015 in collaboration with Gabriel Osorio (Director of “Bear Story”) and “Character Development for animated series” at Claves Alharaca 2018 in Bogota, Colombia.

He has written, edited, created, thought up, destroyed, rewritten and advised more than 15 animation and comedy shows ranging in ages and content from preschool to adult, and from a web series to feature films. He was Head of Content at Zumbastico Studios from 2011 to 2017. 

He’s currently living in Barcelona, where he offers story and script consultancy along with writing services. He's a spanish native speaker, but has worked developing and writing projects for english speaking countries… so don’t be shy :D
